Education |
September 1997 – January 2002
Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering Thesis title: Human Body
Model Acquisition and Tracking using Multi-Camera Voxel Data Developed an
integrated system for automatic acquisition of the human body model and its
tracking from multiple synchronized video sequences. The human body model is
described using twists framework; model acquisition uses a Bayesian network
for estimation of body part sizes and the tracker is an extended Kalman
filter. Courses taken: Digial Image Processing, Digital Image
Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Adaptive Filtering, Wavelets and Filterbanks,
Numerical Optimization, Numerical Mathematics, Information Visualization,
Visual Modeling, Artificial Intelligence September 1994 - July 1996
MS, Biomedical Engineering Thesis title:
Segmentation and Tracking in Ultrasound Images: Active Contours Guided by
Optical Flow Estimates Courses taken:
Introduction to Biomedical Engineering, Cardiovascular Image Understanding,
Physiology, Digital Signal Processing, Stochastic Digital Signal Processing,
Random Signal Analysis, Random Processes and Applications, Signal Detection and Estimation,
Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision October 1989 - July 1994 B.Sc. (Diplomirani Inzenjer), Electrical Engineering (Control
and Electronics), a five year program Thesis title: A System
